Rosanna Marouelli is deeply passionate and dedicated to help others find inner peace and healing through the practice of yoga, meditation and physical therapies. She is a mother of two, successful business owner and yoga teacher, registered massage therapist, craniosacral therapist, and upcoming author and speaker. Rosanna believes strongly in supporting her community and giving back through numerous charitable contributions and continues to make this part of her mission. Rosanna studied Modo Yoga in India during March 2008 and also spent some extra time at Amma’s Ashram (The Hugging Saint) in India. She followed her dream to bring this incredible style of yoga to her hometown in Barrie, Ontario. Since March 2011, Modo Yoga Barrie is a place where many experience the healing benefits of yoga and wellness services. Her studio has raised almost $80,000 towards local charities and has won over 18 awards. She attributes this success to her supportive family, amazing team and incredible community for their love and dedication. Rosanna was the recipient of the Mompreneur Award of Merit in 2019 for her commitment to community and business excellence. She has been working as a Registered Massage Therapist for over 20 years and specializes in Craniosacral therapy, Somatoemotional release and Pediatric Craniosacral therapy. She completed her BA with a major in Gerontology, has taught at Georgian College in the Health Sciences Department, and is currently on an Advisory Board at the College. Other modalities Rosanna has studied are thai yoga massage, cupping therapy, auricular therapy, reflexology, myofascial release, pre-natal/labour massage, infant massage and deep tissue therapy. Rosanna is passionate to teach others how to cope with stress, persevere through challenging times, and feel their best. She is an aspiring author and her mission has always been to help as many people achieve more joy and peace in their lives.
