Born into the flexible packaging industry, Leonardo Giglio is the son of Co-Founder and former President of Tempo Plastics, Joseph Giglio. Len’s packaging journey started when he spent his summers as a student working as a converting operator in the plant. He later attended College & University in Southern Ontario and soon after he started his professional Career as a Sales Representative in 2008.  2012 brought the sudden and unfortunate passing of Joseph Giglio and Len would then assume more responsibility becoming the VP Marketing & Product Development.  Over the next few years Len started to oversee various operations functions and gained a balanced understanding of all aspects of the business.  His passion and driving force has always guided him to strive for continuous improvement, while always searching for new opportunities as a true entrepreneur.   

Len’s focus has been to be a positive community partner by offering Tempo’s resources to engage with various community projects and work with students.  Len volunteers in several industry councils, most recently being appointed as an Advisor to the Canada Plastics Pact which is aligned with Tempo’s Vision to create a Circular Economy for Flexible Packaging.  He is now our Optimist & CEO and recently rebranded and changed the Vision of the company to move forward in a more sustainable manner and expand its offerings across North America.
