Chris is the President of Chris Gariepy Construction Advisors and Chris Gariepy Business Advisors. Born in Barrie Ontario, Chris is a member of a 3rd generation Simcoe County family and a strong advocate for this region. Chris has been a strong advocate of giving back to his communities.  Beyond giving back to industry organizations, Chris has been President of the Barrie Home Builders Association, President of the Georgian College Foundation, President of the Rotary Club of Barrie, Chairman of both the Board of the Royal Victoria Hospital and Chairman of the Board of Georgian College.   Chris is currently Chairman of the South Simcoe Police Service Board of Directors and the Board of Directors of the Barrie Baycats Baseball Club. Chris was honoured and invested into the Fellowship of Georgian College in 2019. Chris has been a Board member of the Georgian Angel Network and is an active investor in a number of Angel start-ups. Chris is married to his wife Debra for 39 years, with a son and a daughter and new grandson. During his downtime, Chris enjoys playing golf, squash, mountain biking, and small project woodworking projects.
